Terms of Service

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Archema Labs Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC879076. By creating an OTO Careers account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a change that affects your rights, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of OTO Careers after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

OTO Careers is a career growth platform. We provide tools to help you build and maintain a career profile, track skills and CPD, set goals, and understand your career development over time. The service includes a web-based dashboard and an optional shared profile page at your chosen URL. Foundation includes a private career record, CV sharing and one monthly Career Check-in. Pathways are available during the trial and with Growth or Flourish. Growth includes every OTO Careers feature except coaching. Flourish adds one bounded AI-supported coaching session each month. It is not human coaching, professional advice or an unlimited chat service. OTO Life is a separate product and subscription. We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to carry out maintenance, updates or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will give advance notice where possible.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us at security@otovios.com. You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or a suspension is not permitted. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity. We will give you notice and an opportunity to respond unless we have reason to believe immediate action is necessary.

You own everything you upload to OTO Careers, including your CV, profile data, skills, goals and coaching responses. We do not claim any ownership of your content. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you upload is accurate and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Do not upload content that belongs to someone else without their permission. If you choose automated document analysis, the CV or selected LinkedIn export you upload is sent to Anthropic to extract a draft profile for your review. After you confirm your profile, a structured summary of your experience, skills and goals is sent to Anthropic to generate your OTO Pathways report. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

OTO Careers is for personal career development. It is not a recruitment platform, a CV database for employers or a lead generation tool. You may not use OTO Careers to scrape, copy or harvest other users' profile data. You may not use automated tools to access the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our systems. You may not attempt to access other users' accounts or data. You may not post false or misleading information in your profile. While we do not verify claims you make about your experience or qualifications, you are responsible for their accuracy. You may not use OTO Careers to send unsolicited messages, advertise services or conduct commercial activity unrelated to your own career development.

If you set your profile to public or link-only, it will be accessible to anyone with the URL. You are responsible for the content of your public profile. We do not verify the accuracy of profile content. Third parties who view your profile should treat it as self-reported information. We reserve the right to remove public profiles that contain false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content. We will notify you and give you an opportunity to respond before taking action unless the content is clearly unlawful or causes immediate harm. Visitors to your public profile may not scrape, copy, or commercially exploit your profile data. Doing so may constitute a breach of these terms and applicable law.

OTO Careers offers a permanent Foundation tier, a seven-day trial and two paid plans. Foundation keeps the career record, CV sharing and one monthly non-AI Career Check-in. The trial includes every Growth feature, with one coaching session unlocked during its final 24 hours. Growth is billed annually and includes every Careers feature except coaching. Flourish is available monthly or annually and adds one bounded AI-supported coaching session each month. OTO Life is purchased separately. The price and features shown at checkout are the terms that apply to that billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the card on file at the start of each monthly or annual billing period you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law. If your payment fails, we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to update your payment details before removing paid feature access and returning your account to basic access. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us at billing@otovios.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate.

OTO Careers, the OTO Pathways report, the OTO Score and all associated branding and software are the intellectual property of Archema Labs Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission. The design, structure and content of the platform, including the OTO level system (Explorer, Builder, Navigator, Driver, Pioneer), are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Nothing in these terms gives you any rights in our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.

OTO Careers provides career information and guidance tools. We do not guarantee that using the platform will result in career advancement, a job offer or any other specific outcome. The OTO Pathways report is based on the information you provide and is intended as a guide, not professional career advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of OTO Careers is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or damage to reputation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by Scots law. The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of OTO Careers. If you are a consumer, this does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live, including any right to bring proceedings there. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
